Christian Kitchen Collection, Christmas gifts for the homeless 2019

Friends and families of St Patrick's, due to the overwhelming success and gratitude of all concerned for our Harvest Food Collection for Christian Kitchen Walthamstow in October - there is a letter on the school website from Christian Kitchen thanking you all for your thoughtfulness and generosity  - and the huge success that this initiative was last year we have decided that we will collect gifts for the homeless people in our local community for Christmas. We don't have to remind you of the hardship these unfortunate people face on a daily basis and just how grateful there are for your support and kindness. Please do not feel that you have top spend a large amount of money - anything at all will be greatly appreciated.
Below is a list of items that Christian Kitchen feel would really be of benefit:

-Toiletries particularly soap, shower gel, deodorant, mouthwash, razors, shaving foam  etc
- Woollen hats
- Scarves
- Gloves ( ladies' and men's)
- Socks
- Tights
- Sweets
- Biscuits

If you feel that you would like to contribute, could you please wrap any of the items in Christmas wrapping paper

(this would be lovely to open!) and simply label woman/ man so that they know who to give it too. Hand your gift into Mrs Duffy at the front office or put it in the Christmas box that will be at the school gate at the end of every day. The final date for donated gifts will be Friday 13th December. Thank you all so much for your support in this very worthy cause .  Mrs Poultney - RE Coordinator.
